Each year, PENTA organises a Call to submit R&D&I project proposals in the area of micro and nanoelectronic applications and technologies. The PENTA call process is designed to be quick and efficient, 10 months from project idea to project approval, while at the same time maintaining a high quality standard.
In a two-stage procedure, the quality of the project proposal is evaluated and improved, finally leading to a selection of high quality project proposals that receive the official PENTA label. The PENTA label provides project partners with the possibility of applying for public funding from their national authorities.
In order to maintain overall programme efficiency in alignment with national support schemes, “unsolicited project proposals” may be accepted throughout the calendar year.
